Design
The Realme C35 comes with a 6.6-inch full-HD+ LCD panel that has a standard 60Hz refresh rate. It features a dewdrop-style notch, which isn’t too distracting when you’re viewing content. However, some might find its design a bit outdated. The bezel surrounding the display is slim at the top and sides, but noticeably thicker at the bottom. On the bottom of the C35, you’ll find a 3.5 mm headphone jack, primary microphone, USB Type-C port, and speaker.
Cameras
The Realme C35 boasts a triple-camera setup on the back, consisting of a high-resolution 50-megapixel main camera, a 2-megapixel macro lens, and a 2-megapixel black-and-white camera. For capturing selfies, it features an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. However, it’s worth noting that the camera interface on this device is simpler compared to the standard Realme camera app. Unfortunately, there is no convenient quick-access icon available on the viewfinder for adjusting settings on the go.
Performance
The Realme C35 comes equipped with a Unisoc T616 SoC, boasting a maximum clock speed of 2.0GHz. It’s worth noting that this is quite unexpected, as Unisoc SoCs are typically found in entry-level smartphones. In terms of connectivity, the phone offers a SIM tray with two slots for nano-SIMs, along with a dedicated slot for a microSD card that supports up to 1TB of storage. Communication capabilities include support for 4G/LTE bands, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5, and satellite navigation systems.
Battery
The battery life of the Realme C35 is not very impressive. In our HD video loop test, the 5,000mAh battery lasted only 10 hours and 56 minutes, which is below average for a budget device. In terms of regular use, the C35 lasted just a little over a day, once again falling short of the average for a budget device. On the bright side, charging the phone with the included 18W charger took two hours and seven minutes, which is comparable to what other devices in its price range offer.
