‘Adolescence’ rocked the stage at the 77th Emmy Awards 2025. Netflix’s ‘Adolescence’ won awards in 6 categories. This year, ‘Adolescence’ won the award for Best Limited or Anthology Series. A total of 6 awards are now in the bag for ‘Adolescence’, including for direction, writing, and acting.
Owen Cooper has won an Emmy Award at the age of 15. Owen plays Jamie Miller in ‘Adolescence’. Owen, 15, is now the youngest winner of the Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Limited Series award. Owen called the experience of winning an Emmy at such a young age ‘unbelievable’.
Stephen Graham won two awards for writing a limited series and for acting in a lead role. Jack Thorne shared the award with Stephen Graham for writing ‘Adolescence’. Stephen Graham and Jack Thorne won the award for best writing for an anthology series.
On the other hand, Erin Doherty of ‘Adolescence’ won the award for Best Supporting Actress. Philip Barantini won the award for Best Director for an Anthology Series. ‘Adolescence’ was nominated in a total of 8 categories. Of these, 6 awards are now in the hands of ‘Adolescence’.
The 77th Emmy Awards were held at the Peacock Theatre in Los Angeles on September 14. ‘Severance’ was nominated in 27 categories. ‘The Studio’ won 13 awards this year.
